Ellesmere Port Investment Sold

72 Whitby Rd

Acting on behalf of private management clients, BA Commercial and Allsop, London, have recently agreed the sale of 72 Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0AA, prior to the intended October 2018 Auction.

The premises comprise a semi-detached commercial building in the centre of the town, together with parking to front and rear. The property is occupied by Countrywide Estate Agents trading as Clive Watkin and held on the balance of a 10 year lease from May 2012, at an overall rental of £19,000 pax.

A figure was agreed in excess of the guide figures of £180,000 – £190,000 to private pension fund purchasers.

Justin Rice-Jones who handled the sale, commented “we were pleased to have received strong interest in the building prior to the London Auction, and on the basis that the buyers were known to us and could perform quickly, advised the Vendors to seriously consider a private treaty sale, which has now been concluded.”
